Signer Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PawPort iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Overview

PawPort is a pet profile app for Singapore that helps you keep your pet's records in one place — profiles, health records (vaccinations, deworming, weight), local reminders, Singapore compliance guidance (HDB / PALS), and a map to find nearby veterinary clinics. You can use the App anonymously, without creating a personal account. We are committed to protecting your privacy, collect only the data needed to provide these features, and do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Pet Information — Details you enter about your pets, such as name, species and breed, date of birth, microchip number, and licence / tag number.
  • Health Records — Records you add for your pets, such as vaccinations, deworming treatments, and weight history.
  • Owner Profile — Information about you, such as your name, postal code, residence type, and phone number. This is used to personalize your experience and provide Singapore-specific compliance guidance.
  • Pet Photos — Photos you choose to add for your pets. These are stored in Supabase Storage and associated with your account.

2.2 Account and Identity

  • Anonymous Account — By default, the App signs you in anonymously through Supabase Auth. This lets us store your pet profiles and records without requiring any personal credentials.
  • Sign in with Apple (Optional) — You may optionally link your account using Sign in with Apple. This enables backup and recovery so you can restore your data when you switch or reset your device. Authentication is handled by Apple; we receive only the identifiers needed to link your account.

2.3 Location

With your permission, the App uses your device location to show nearby veterinary clinics on the map. Location is processed on your device for proximity display through Apple MapKit and is not stored on our servers.

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require your name, email, or phone number to use the App
  • We do not access your social media accounts or credentials
  • We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
  • We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services
  • We do not upload your reminders; notifications are scheduled locally on your device (see Section 4)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Storing and displaying your pet profiles and health records
  • Tracking vaccinations, deworming, and weight over time
  • Providing Singapore-specific compliance guidance (HDB / PALS) based on your residence type
  • Showing nearby veterinary clinics on the map and providing directions
  • Backing up and restoring your data when you link Sign in with Apple

4. Notifications

Reminders in the App are delivered as local notifications only, scheduled on your device through Apple's notification system (UNUserNotificationCenter). There is no push notification backend, and no reminder data is uploaded to our servers. If you disable notifications in iOS Settings, reminders will not be shown.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, and we do not share your data for third-party advertising or analytics. We use the following third-party services to provide the App:

  • Supabase — For authentication, database storage of your pet profiles and records, and storage of pet photos. Data is hosted in the Singapore region.
  • Cloudflare Workers — Our backend (built with Hono) runs on Cloudflare Workers and handles API requests between the App and Supabase.
  • Apple MapKit — For displaying the map and nearby veterinary clinics. Map interactions are handled by Apple.
  • Sign in with Apple — For optional account linking, backup, and recovery. Authentication is handled by Apple.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your pet profiles, health records, owner profile, and photos are stored in Supabase (Postgres and Storage), hosted in the Singapore region. Access to your data is protected by Supabase Row Level Security (RLS), which ensures that records are accessible only to your account. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with industry-standard encryption.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete your account at any time directly within the App. This permanently and irreversibly removes all of your data, including pet profiles, health records, owner profile, and photos, via a cascading deletion
  • Deny location access and still use the App without the nearby clinic map
  • Choose whether to link Sign in with Apple for backup and recovery
  • Request assistance with your data by contacting us

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
