2.1 Website (shipswift.app)

2.2 iOS Showcase App

The ShipSwift showcase app may access the following:

  • Camera — Used solely for demonstrating camera-related UI components. Images are processed locally and are not uploaded or stored on any server.
  • UserDefaults — Used to store your local preferences (e.g., theme settings, viewed components). This data stays on your device.
  • Authentication (optional) — If you choose to sign in, we use AWS Amplify/Cognito to manage authentication. Only your email address is stored for account purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information described above solely for the following purposes:

  • Providing and maintaining the Service
  • Authenticating your account, if you choose to sign in
  • Storing your local app preferences

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:

  • AWS (Amazon Web Services) — Authentication services are processed through AWS Cognito. AWS's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Most data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults. If you use optional authentication, your account data is securely stored in AWS Cognito with industry-standard encryption.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete the app at any time, which removes all local data
  • Request deletion of your authentication account by contacting us
  • Use the app without creating an account

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
