Voronoi
Programmatic background of animated Voronoi cells with anti-aliased smooth edges. Double-pass algorithm: first pass finds the closest cell center, second pass scans a 5×5 neighborhood to compute the minimum half-plane distance to all neighbours (the cell edge). 1–5 color step-discretized palette ramp, optional gap border between cells, optional radial inner-shadow glow.

Swirl
Programmatic background of animated bands of color twisting and bending into spirals, arcs, and flowing circular patterns. Polar-coordinate angle is multiplied by bandCount and spun by time; a pow(length, -twist) radial term bends straight sectoral bands into spirals; folded to a triangular wave so each band gets two symmetric edges; optionally distorted with 2D simplex noise; finally mapped across 1...10 palette colors with fwidth()-based anti-aliased band edges. 2D simplex noise by Ashima Arts (public domain).
